DAY 1 TRAVEL DAY – TO AFRICA
Your safari begins today as you board your international flight to Africa.
DAYS 2 & 3 AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
You will meet your guide this morning at approximately 8:00am in Nairobi and will be driven south to Porini Amboseli Safari Camp for your 2 night stay in the Selenkay Conservancy just north of Kenya’s famous Amboseli National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch and a walk with Maasai warriors to a nearby village for an insight into their fascinating way of life. Next you will drive to Amboseli National Park for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch. On your return enjoy sundowners and an evening game drive back to camp.
About Porini Amboseli Safari Camp: This small traditional camp retains all the charm of safari days gone by. Located in the 15,000 acre Selenkay Conservancy owned by the local Maasai community, the camp has exclusive use of this wildlife rich wilderness ensuring an uncrowded safari experience and authentic interactions with the local Maasai people.
Camp Type & Location: Permanent tented camp in the Selenkay Conservancy just north of Amboseli National Park.
Guest Accommodations: Nine spacious traditional safari tents comfortably furnished with en-suite bathrooms, bucket shower, wash basin, flush toilet and solar powered lighting.
Activities: Morning and afternoon game drives, night game drives, guided bush walks and sundowners in the conservancy.
Wildlife: InSelenkay expect to see impala, gazelle, zebra, elephant, lion, giraffe and yellow baboon. More elusive residents include leopard, cheetah, hyena, bat eared fox, mongoose and porcupine. Amboseli is famous for its elephants that number well over 1000, plus a wide variety of plains game including wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, eland and impala all pursued by hyena, lion, leopard and cheetah. Birdlife flourishes, particularly in the park’s marshes and swamps, with over 420 species identified in the park.
About Amboseli National Park
Amboseli is located in southern Kenya along the Tanzania border. It is famous for its emerald swamps that act as a magnet to wildlife, its much studied elephants and its dramatic views of Kilimanjaro which are considered the best in Africa.

DAYS 4 & 5 OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Amboseli airstrip for your small plane flight to Nairobi and connection with your scheduled flight to Nanyuki where you will be met by your guide and transferred to Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Porini Rhino Camp for your two night stay. You will arrive in time for a late lunch and an afternoon game drive. Tomorrow will be devoted to a full day exploration of Ol Pejeta.
About Porini Rhino Camp: Located in the 90,000 acre Ol Pejeta Conservancy in the shadow of 17,000’ Mt. Kenya, this intimate camp is hidden in a secluded valley among shady acacias on the banks of a seasonal stream with wonderful views across the surrounding plains. The camp consists of 6 inviting guest tents plus a spacious common tent used as a dining room and lounge. The camp is environmentally friendly with solar powered lighting and no generator.
Camp Type & Location: Permanent tented camp in northern Kenya’s Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

It has 4 of the world’s 7 remaining northern white rhinos which are now extinct in the wild.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 90,000 acre wildlife reserve situated between the foot hills of the Aberdares and snowcapped Mount Kenya. Its rolling plains and acacia woodlands are home to the largest rhino population in Kenya, a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees, a breeding program for endangered white rhino and conservation oriented farming and ranching operations.

DAYS 6 & 7 MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
This morning you are driven back to Nanyuki for your flight to the Maasai Mara and transfer to Mara Porini Camp for your 2 night stay. You arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive and sundowners. Tomorrow is a full day exploration of the wild Ol Kinyei Conservancy.
About Porini Mara Camp:Porini Mara Camp is located in the 15,000 acre Ol Kinyei Conservancy owned by the local Maasai communities and set aside as a wildlife sanctuary providing the ultimate safari adventure far from the tourist crowds. This small camp is secluded amid rolling hills covered by acacia woodland and set under yellow-barked fever trees along the banks of the Laetoli River. It has six spacious guest tents with a separate tent used as a combination dining area, bar and lounge.
Camp Type & Location: Permanent Tented Camp in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy north of the Maasai Mara Reserve.
Guest Accommodations: Six spacious, comfortably appointed safari tents with en-suite flush toilet and bucket shower.
Activities: Morning & afternoon game drives in open 4×4 safari vehicles in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy, Massai Mara Reserve and Naboisho Conservancy, night game drives, escorted bush walks and sundowners in the conservancies, evening entertainment by local Maasai warriors. Wildlife: Large prides of lions, elephant, buffalo, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, ostrich, zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, impala, eland, waterbuck and even the occasional black rhino can all be seen. At the height of the dry season the wildebeest migration also passes through Ol Kinyei as the herds for the Loita Plains move to the Mara.

This 16,000 acre wilderness just 12 miles north of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve belongs to the local Maasai community who set it aside for wildlife conservation and rent its use to the safari camp. Located in the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, Ol Kinyei is renowned for its scenic combination of savannah plains, rolling acacia woodlands and abundance of water that makes it a wildlife paradise throughout the year.

DAYS 8 & 9 MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
After breakfast, you will depart on an all day game drive in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, enjoying a picnic lunch en-route. You will arrive at Porini Lion Camp for your final two nights on safari in time for sundowners and a scrumptious dinner. Next day is devoted to a full exploration of the surrounding wildlife rich plains and woodlands.
About Porini Lion Camp:Porini Lion Camp is located in the 20,000 acre Olare Orok Conservancy along the Ntiakatiak River just over a mile from the Maasai Mara Reserve. It is a classic safari camp with ten comfortably appointed guest tents and a spacious separate tent used as a combination dining area, bar and lounge. Its outstanding location allows easy access to the Massai Mara Reserve plus the freedom for night game drives and bush walks in the game rich conservancy.
